AUSTRALIANS !!!!!! READ THIS!!!!!!!!! BOAT HUNTERS AUSTRALIAN DELIVERY AND SERVICE: Your boat will be transported to the shipper of your choice at no additional charge. Prep for shipping: Boat will be prepped per shipping regulations at no extra charge. Checks for organic material is very thorough. However, many boats are being held in quaranteen for the slightest infraction. (piece of dirt in the tire tread, etc.) Figure about $400.00 extra in your calculations, if you make it through, great. If not , you are prepared. Last year 100% of the boats made it through with no issues. Now about 50% make it. The people checking for organic material, are they same people that get to make money when they find something (go figure). We will remove windshields, towers, swim steps or any other items your shipper deems necessary and pack them properly in the boat with all hardware intact, with photos showing the disassembly process. Shrink wrap: The boat will be shrink wrapped at no additional charge, shrink wrap will be vented and moisture absorbent material and compounds will be scattered about the boat (This is not messy). Documents: USA/AU free trade forms properly executed. Clear titles, bills of sale, 262 transfer forms completed in a timely manner. Photos of a clear and legable trailer I.D. Tag will be sent immediately as well as trailer dimensions. Unless otherwise specified, all of our boats go through an extensive evaluation and reconditioning program. We are a fully equipped boat dealership with upholstery , fiberglass, gel coat,. audio and mechanical departments. Trailers are serviced as follows if applicable: Fluids are checked and fluid lines inspected for leaks. Brakes, wiring and lighting are inspected. Tires are always replaced regardless of their condition (tread depth does not show integrity of the tire). Bearings are packed. Bunks are secured, missing or torn carpet replaced if necessary. In the event that the trailer is over the 2.5 MTR. Australian requirement. We will install a set of wheels with a 1.5" less offset, that will bring the width in 3". We will move guards in at no charge if that will do it. In the event new axles or other MAJOR work is required. There will be a charge, each case is different. But I can pretty much guarantee it will be less expensive for us to do it here in our shop, than in Australia. If the wheels and guards do not bring it under 2.5 MTR. our trailer department can do any necessary axle changes, spring relocations, etc. I have not seen many trailers that could not altered, for under $500.00. Upholstery, will repair or replace any cushions that are damaged. Unraveling seams are redone. Stains are removed or upholstery is recovered. Carpets are replaced if missing or damaged in any way. Fiberglass and gel coat is inspected and any imperfections are addressed and repaired. Dock rash and beaching marks are taken out. The hull is then compounded down, buffed and waxed. You will recive a boat that has NO scratches or damage of any kind. Mechanical, does an extensive safety check and overall inspection from stem to stern. Electrical, instruments, cables and components are checked and secured, anything inoperable or damaged, is replaced. The engine is compression checked, tuned, fluids are changed, new filters, new battery installed, a new water pump impeller installed. Fuel tanks are drained of old fuel and conditioner is put into the fuel tank(s) All Audio, marine radios and Stereo systems are checked , replaced if necessary and speakers are sound. Propellers are replaced if there is the slightest damage. Please keep in mind: We feel we do an incredible job in repairing and reconditioning all of our boats. As mentioned above, we go to great extents to insure they are all in top operational running order, serviced and water ready. We have a very professional and well trained staff. We detail, service,repair and recondition to the best of our ability. However, nothing we do, will ever make it a " BRAND NEW" boat. Only NEW boats are BRAND NEW
